The Tortoise Centre is our specialist tortoise department located inside Wilton Pet Centre located in Bowers Gifford, Basildon in the heart of Essex.

Wilton Pet Centre is a family run business that has been serving the people of Essex for over 40 years.

Since the 1980’s we have been successfully breeding many different species of tortoise and are well known as one of the UK’s top tortoise breeders and suppliers.

We are involved in many C.I.T.E.S approved breeding projects around the world producing high-quality captive bred tortoises such as Sulcatas, Leopards, Red-Foots, Sri-Lankan and Indian Stars.

We also supply other species of tortoise such as Hermanns, Marginated, Horsfields, and Spur-Thighed tortoises.

Our shop and online store offer a full range of tortoise table and vivarium starter kits, food and accessories to keep your tortoise in peak condition and by your side for many years to come.

Our shop in Essex also offers a wide selection of animals such as exotic birds, reptiles, small animals and other pets along with all the supplies you need to keep them happy and healthy.
