Starter Kits

Vivariums are made to hold heat and tortoise tables are made for maximum ventilation. Our vivariums are professionally made and have both adequate ventilation and heat retention for all species of tortoises. They are designed with easily removable glass sliding doors for those wishing to give the maximum ventilation during the summer.

We recommend that the glass should be fitted during the winter when ambient temperatures in your house maybe low, at night or maybe during the day when your heating is low or off. This will help maintain the temperature and not create a massive fluctuation from very low night temperatures to high day temperatures. It's important to remember that tortoise tables aren't suitable if you have other pets (cats or dogs) or young children that may interfere with the tortoise when you're not there to supervise. Our universal designed vivariums are suitable in all circumstances.
